Hello visitors,
Welcome to our website.
The NSSB (Nature Study
Society of Bangladesh) was established on August 30, 1996 at
Dhaka, Bangladesh - for the collection and circulation of the
facts and knowledge about Nature and natural resources, to train
up members and to propagate the spirit of Nature Conservation
among the public.
Its a self-sponsored voluntary organization
dedicated for the conservation and management of Nature and the
development of its interested members in various aspects of Nature
Study and its proper management.
Members are concerned with
regular Field Works to places of natural interest, occasional
training programs on Nature Photography, Publication, Field
Working and Research Works - Indoor and Outdoor.
They participate
in rallies on any environmental issue like the World Environment
Day (June 05) and organize Seminars on those issue.
The
organization has been registered in 2004, under the Societies
Registration act. 1860 of the Govt. of BD. (Regn. # S-3543(332)/2004).
The Society is now publishing web sites - www.naturestudy.info and www.nssbd.org along with its
quarterly news magazine - Nature Study. Anybody interested in
these issues can contact us and be a member of NSSB. So, thanks
